The proposed route for the 2013 COLT |
The Carmel Valley contingent David and Lloyd set out on Saturday 4th May with the objective of reaching Victorville, CA.

David's Series 2 E-Type is ready for the road...
The route to Victorville is dominated by freeways, with not a lot of scenery to provide much of interest. By the time we reached the central valley, temperatures were in to the 90s, so we were happy to roll into Victorvillle around 3pm and get out of the sun. The only casualty was David's speedometer (again!). It started behaving erratically on the SOL in 2011. It finally self destructed on the NWOL in 2012. It was rebuilt later that year, and was working very nicely until 200 miles into the first day of the COLT. Now it's disconnected again...
